Aqualyx is a deoxycholic acid-based injectable used to reduce small, stubborn fat pockets that persist despite healthy habits. It is not a weight-loss procedure and works best for localised areas on clients near their healthy weight range.

Keep the area clean. Avoid alcohol, heat and strenuous exercise for 48-72 hours. Do not massage unless instructed. Light walking and good hydration support recovery. For chin treatments, avoid pressure (tight straps) and makeup for 24 hours.
We use CE-marked products and follow strict hygiene protocols. Results vary by area and individual response. Destroyed fat cells do not return, but remaining cells can enlarge with weight gain.
Urgent signs: severe increasing pain, spreading redness, dark/ulcerating skin, fever, or new facial weakness after chin treatment - contact the clinic immediately.

Expect swelling, warmth, tenderness and firmness for several days. Keep the area clean; avoid heat (sauna/steam/sunbeds), alcohol and strenuous exercise for 48-72h. Do not massage or manipulate the area unless your practitioner advises it. Gentle walking and hydration are encouraged. For chin areas: avoid makeup for 24h and avoid tight straps/pressure. Compression garments may be suggested for body areas if advised. Paracetamol can be used for discomfort. Avoid ibuprofen/aspirin unless specifically advised. No facials or aggressive treatments on the area for 2 weeks.
