Most protocols involve 3 sessions spaced ~4 weeks apart. Improvements build over 4-8 weeks; maintenance every 6-9 months.

Skin boosters improve skin quality from within by delivering hyaluronic acid (HA) or bio-stimulating actives (e.g. polynucleotides) into the superficial layers of the skin. They’re designed for glow, hydration and texture, not for adding contour or bulk.

Treatment Options (Examples)

  • Profhilo (face/neck/hands): widely used HA remodelling protocol, typically 2-3 sessions ~4 weeks apart.
  • Seventy Hyal 2000: HA-based hydration; commonly 3 sessions ~4 weeks apart.
  • Periorbital boosters (e.g. “Lumi eyes”): delicate protocols for under-eye crepiness; usually 2-3 sessions.
  • Polynucleotides (e.g. Vitarin): DNA fragments that may support tissue repair and quality; course-based after assessment.

Exact product and protocol are confirmed at consultation for your skin and goals.

The Treatment Process

  1. Consultation & skin assessment - photos, medical history, expectations, consent
  2. Planning - product choice and pattern (micro-droplet/BAP grid/cannula)
  3. Treatment - a series of superficial injections; numbing if required
  4. Aftercare - written guidance; plan follow-up session(s)

What to Expect

  • Immediately: small visible bumps at injection points (settle within 24-72h)
  • 1-2 weeks: early hydration and smoothness
  • 4-8 weeks: clearer improvement in texture and luminosity; review and plan maintenance

Aftercare (Summary)

Keep the area clean, avoid makeup for 24h, and avoid heat/alcohol/exercise for 24-48h. No facials or microneedling for 2 weeks. Daily SPF is recommended to maintain results.

Note: Suitability and product selection are personalised. If you develop increasing pain, spreading redness, fever or any concerns after treatment, contact the clinic promptly.

Skin Boosters FAQ

Boosters target skin quality (hydration, texture, luminosity) and are placed more superficially; they don’t add structural volume like contouring fillers.

Most people need 3 sessions spaced ~4 weeks apart (e.g. Profhilo commonly 2-3 sessions; Seventy Hyal and periorbital boosters often 3). Top-ups every 6-9 months maintain results.

You may notice a dewy feel within 1-2 weeks, with clearer improvements in texture and glow over 4-8 weeks as hydration and collagen/elastin stimulation build.

Under-eye protocols (e.g. Lumi Eyes) can help crepiness and fine lines in suitable candidates; assessment is required as some concerns are better treated with alternatives.

Often yes-boosters pair well with anti-wrinkle injections, gentle peels and skincare. We’ll advise on sequencing and safe intervals.

Common effects include bumps, redness and bruising that settle in days. Rarely, infection or nodules can occur. Contact the clinic if you notice increasing pain, spreading redness, fever or any concerns.
