Timelines vary by vitamin: B12 effects often 24-72h and may last 2-6 weeks.

Vitamin injections deliver selected vitamins directly into muscle for predictable uptake. They can be helpful for documented deficiency or when oral absorption is limited. Your practitioner will review symptoms, medications and (ideally) recent blood tests to decide if injections are appropriate.

Options & Typical Use

  • Vitamin B12: supports red-blood-cell formation and energy in suitable clients; often monthly if indicated.

These treatments complement, not replace, medical care and a balanced diet.

The Appointment

  1. Consultation & screening - medical history, medications, allergies, recent bloods
  2. Consent & dosing - vitamin choice and interval agreed
  3. Injection - quick IM shot (usually upper arm)
  4. Aftercare & plan - spacing of future doses and when to re-test

What to Expect

  • During/after: brief sting or pressure; mild soreness/bruise possible
  • B12: potential uplift 24-72h; reassess at 2-6 weeks
